Ambient Noise Sensor SKU# ANS501 The Bogen Ambient Noise Sensor system is designed to monitor continuously changing ambient noise levels and electronically adjust the level of a page announcement and/or background music so intelligibility is maintained. The system consists of the control module (Model ANS501), a microphone module (ANS500M), and a power supply. The system ensures that page announcements and music are audible even during periods of high noise levels by continuously monitoring the ambient noise level through a microphone module located in the subject area and adjusting the paging signal level into the system’s amplifier. Automatically adjusts paging level as ambient noise levels rise and fall Supports up to 4 small sensor microphones (1 ANS500M included) for large areas Sensor microphones can be located up to 2,000 feet from control unit Easily connects in at pre-amp out -power amp in process loop |

Sensor Microphone SKU# ANS500M The Bogen ANS500M Remote Microphone is a microphone input for the ANS501 Ambient Noise Sensor. The remote microphone connects to the sensor and literally listens to the fluctuation of a room's ambiance. The sensor then compensates adjusts the paging system's output level accordingly. The ANS500M may be remotely wall or ceiling mounted. The ANS501 control unit is capable of supporting up to four (4) ANS500M microphones wired in parallel. Wire runs between the control unit and microphones consist of two-conductor cable and can reach 2,000 feet (with 20AWG wire) with no appreciable loss of signal strength. |

Voice Activated Relay SKU# VAR1 The VAR1 is a relay device that monitors audio activity over a wide range of input voltages and operates two sets of C-Form relay contacts in response to detected activity. The VAR1 can be used to detect voltages as low as signals directly from a microphone or as high as signals from 70V speaker systems. A low-level output of the detected audio, transformer-isolated from the input, is also made available for use with other equipment. The VAR1 can also be used as a balanced, low-impedance microphone pre-amp. The VAR1 is ideally suited to provide a set of contact closures for paging ports of lower cost telephone systems that do not have a set of AUX contacts to trigger paging equipment. An adjustable release delay (up to 25 seconds) keeps the paging system from dropping out in the middle of a page. 2 sets of C-Form (N.O. & N.C.) relay contacts respond to audio activity 4 levels of input signals: microphone, 600-ohm line, 25V, & 70V speaker systems Built-in balanced, low noise, high gain microphone pre-amp A transformer-isolated, 600-ohm small signal level output of detected audio available Trigger threshold adjustment |

Night Ringer SKU# NR100 The NR100 converts virtually any paging system into an after-hours night bell alert system. The economical NR100 night ringer sends an electronic tone through paging system speakers when triggered by the telephone system’s night bell circuit, thus eliminating the need for loud, old-fashioned night bells thoughout a facility. The NR100 is an easy and efficient way to alert security guards or other personnel of incoming calls during non-business hours. Responds to 90V ring signals or external contact closures Produces dual-frequency electronic ringer tone Easily connects to any paging system Automatically mutes background music while ringing Ringer volume control Compact size Low current draw |
